Mark Swint Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announced the unexpected passing of Mark Ryan Swint who left this world on February 15, 2026, at the age of 52.

He graduated from Bremen high school in 1992.

Mark was a man whose presence could be felt the moment he entered a room. He was strong, kind and deeply devoted to the people he loved, his love was not always through words, but through his actions through his loyalty, his sacrifices and his unwavering support.

Above all else, Mark was a proud and devoted father to his beloved daughter Jillyan. She was his greatest joy and his heart. He loved her fiercely and took immense pride in the person she is and the life she was building.  His guidance, protection, humor, and unconditional love will remain with her forever.

He also knew how to truly enjoy life. He loved playing magic where his competitive spirit and sharp mind shines. He enjoyed disc golf, riding go karts, and anything that brought a little excitement and fun. He was a lifelong fan of NASCAR. He especially loved anything connected to Dale Earnhardt, every reflection of his admiration for grit and determination and strength.

To know him is to know, generosity, resilient, and heart, his laugh, his stories and his unmistakable presence will be deeply missed by all who was fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his daughter Jillyan L Swint, mother and stepfather Deborah, (Tim) Elston, brother, Michael, R (Lynette) Swint, sister Michelle R. (Damion) Steele, stepsister Lacey Lawrence, three nephews Joshua, Mack, and Reid, and six nieces Amber, Jaylin, Katanna, Satori, Abigal and Stella.

He was proceeded in death by his father James R Swint, parental grandparents, Arthur R. and Jean Swint and maternal grandparents, Robert and Susie Asher.

Though his passing was sudden and unexpected, the love he gave was deep and lasting, his life mattered. His love was real, and his legacy will live on through his daughter and the many lives he touched.
